COLOURS AND THEIR MEANINGS

When creating a music video, I believe that understanding different colours and their meanings is important. The colours used in music videos have certain connotations and mean certain things based around what they're being used for. Even costumes, props and lighting will be all of different colours that will mean certain things.

I have found a table on the internet which explains each colour with a specific meaning, there are widely associated meanings with certain colours. There are meanings that we think about straight away when we see a specific colour (for example: RED we associate this colour to be danger, passion, sexuality.) so the colours used in music videos are there to serve a purpose and to connote a certain feeling or attitude.
