My music advert

I have some feedback off social media as to what peers and members of my friends on Facebook thought to my music video, and the effectiveness of my product, I took screenshots of the comments people made about my music video and how they thought it was effective if it was. So I posted my music video on to Facebook and asked for people to comment their thoughts on my music video and if they thought it was effective. 

I posted a link to my music video on Facebook and asked for people to comment any feedback below about the effectiveness of my music video as a whole. I believed this was a good way to do it because I can get a mass audience response, I got responses from people who are my age (17-20) which are my target audience so I got their responses to my music video which were all positive. 

Here I got a response about my editing, which is a large part of my music video because it pieces parts of my video together to make it look effective, 

I got a lot of compliments that where about my narrative and how my music video betrayed a strong narrative which was effective and that it is clear to see the narrative throughout.

How do existing artists and their products create continuity and why is it important?

What would I do differently if I got to make my products again? 

After reading my audience feedback on what they think I could do differently if I could create my products again, they suggested making my ancillary texts more like my music video. I think this would be the main thing I changed about my products. As my music video is the pop genre and the song I chose is from the pop genre this should be the genre I followed that in which I did but my audience feedback just suggested making minor changes to my advert and digipack by changing the colour and making the colour dimmer and more like the colours and effects I put in my music video, to create more continuity. But after doing research in to existing artists and their products that even my products do all create continuity because a single music video of a whole album doesn't have to link greatly. But this is the one thing I would change, I would make my ancillary texts a lot more like my music video to make it more effective for an audience but I just wanted to stay within the pop genre. I would also make my music poster less dramatic and have ,less things on it, so it just gets straight to the point instead of it being really over the top. But these are the only two changes I would make.
